The Honda CBR1000RR goes sun-bathing


No really. Last year, some of us had ridden down to the west coast of India on various bikes, including this, a 2004 Honda CBR1000RR.

Yamaha FZS : the 150cc naked monster for India


Yamaha in India has been doing quite well since last year. The 150cc YZF-R15 for example got numerous awards for being the bike to own in India currently. They also have the 150cc naked bike called the FZ-16.


Some days back, the company came out with a sexier looking version of the FZ-16, and named it the FZS. In our opinion, the Yamaha FZS is best looking two-wheeler in India by a huge margin!

Bajaj Boxer : the bike to have in Uganda!

The Bajaj Boxer in Uganda sells for around USD 1250, 50% more than what it used to sell in India for

Uganda ofcourse doesnt have a local motorcycle manufacturer and riders have to do with cheap Japanese imports. However, of late, two Indian manufacturers - Bajaj and TVS have been doing quite well. Infact, they have beaten the Japanese imports, thanks to the fuel efficiency which is around 40-45 miles per litre (the 100cc bikes).

Sources say that the Bajaj Boxer, a 100cc bike, is the top selling and Bajaj enjoys a 30% market share in Uganda! Not bad...

2009 Honda Fury : First Ride
